- The "Summer WOW Contest" - this is a fun one, it opens on July 1st. The only contest rule is you must WOW the judges with images you've taken starting July 1, through August 31st. Enter up to 3 images. Judging takes place in September, winning images and all the rest being shown at the October 15 competition.
- Submissions for the August 20 competition, in Pictorial, Nature, Monochrome and PJ, are open on June 1st, closing on Sunday August 16. Peer Review will precede the competition.
- ShutterBug Saturday, August 15, 9am - The July ShutterBug was well attended - everyone there enjoys it, every time! If you're local in the desert, come for a fun summer meetup over coffee at Panera on N. Monterey Ave. near Sam's Club. All members invited!
