Who We Are

The Coachella Valley Desert Camera Club is a diverse community of photographers, dedicated to educating, enjoying and mastering the art and science of photography. Since our founding in 1982, we’ve been a gathering place for photo enthusiasts, offering shared experience, friendship and social connection. Our members range from beginning photographers to advanced amateurs. Newcomers are very much welcome - anyone interested in the photographic arts is encouraged to join!

Affiliations

The CVDCC is a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and of the Southern California Council of Camera Clubs (S4C).

Programs and Events

We host 5 bi-monthly PSA sanctioned competitions, each preceded by a Peer Review workshop, 5 guest speakers and numerous “PhotoChats” offered in between months, all via Zoom. During the season there are numerous Outings and Meetups, bi-monthly “just-for-fun” contests, “Show & Tell” by members, and seasonal potlucks. Events are listed for the membership on our website calendar, and also to members via email blasts and the club Facebook page.

Become a Member!

To join CVDCC, go to the "Login" tab in the upper right corner and scroll down to the "Membership Information and Membership Request" button. Fill out and submit the requested membership information. Our Membership Committee will contact you with instructions for submitting the annual dues, which are $50. The dues are prorated through the calendar year, depending on what month you join.
